Researchers from the University of Berkeley are working hard at creating robots that are incredibly strong. Researchers at the university laboratory have created artificial muscles that can make a robot 1,000 times stronger than man.

Artificial muscles benefit from the special properties of a material called vanadium dioxide. The material is a kamponim which is able to change from an insulator to a metal conductor. According to researchers, this transition that produced a considerable amount of force.

Scientists say that the transition creates enough power to move objects that are 50 times heavier than artificial muscles themselves. Muscles are able to move objects to a considerable distance, and, up to 5 times the length of the object within 60 milliseconds.
