Astronomers say that the comet with a long tail and bright, spent only 1.2 million miles from the surface of the sun yesterday at 18:37 by Grinuiçit. A number of telescopes failed to catch the comet trail after that moment.
In the closest distance to the sun, while traveling with speed 350 kilometers per second, comets may have caught 2,700 degrees centigrade temperature.
Scientists say temperatures were enough to melt the ice that constitute the body of the comet, as well as dust and rocks in its composition.
