Quantum computers offer us the beauty of a world in which information technology is fantastic and powerful, but they are extremely difficult to build and very hard to keep at room temperature

A new record was set in the world of quantum computing as the experts were able to create a quantum memory and then keep it at that for about 40 minutes at room temperature. Extremely difficult to manipulate and more difficult to maintain the state of the quantum memory, a good thing in a more controlled absolute zero temperature, this new record has destroyed previous assessments being carried out at room temperature.

A quantum computer is in its essence unsustainable, as it works by changing the way we retain information. Currently 'bit' of information is stored as 1s and 0s, but a quantum computer is able to save those who are known as 'qubits', which can be 1s or 0s at the same time.
