Scientists are trying to create a new social network that will be used to judge whether the posts on the internet are genuine or not . People should not believe everything that is said on the Internet because not all are true . This new regulation will analyze , in real time , when a post on the internet is true . It will also identify open accounts in different social networks used to spread false news .

The purpose of this project is to help organizations , governments and emergency services to respond more effectively to events. The project was launched by a research group in London in 2011. The data analyzed will include posts on Twitter , comments on forums healthcare and public comments on Facebook . Scientists have made a classification of rumors through social networks like speculation , debate , misinformation and deceit .

The system will split into categories of information sources to evaluate their authority . Categories include news , journalists , experts , eyewitnesses , general public , etc. . The project, which is named after the Greek mythological character , PHEM , known for spreading rumors , will last for three years .
