Google is working on a Nexus tablet 8 inches in collaboration with Asus. This tablet will replace your actual Nexus 7 inches, according to DigiTimes sources in Taiwan.

Nexus 8 is expected to launch in late April and will have 2 million such devices for shipment as early. The reason for this maneuver by Google were lower sales of the Nexus 7 from the pressure of big-screen smartphones.

Nexus 7 is so far only sold 3 million units, far less than expectations. The compact tablet market (7 to 8 inches) increased when compared with the tablet with a large (10 inches).

Tablet as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 experienced a "boom" in sales and very little difference in screen size compared with 7 inch tablet.
